This slide bar determines Highline Well
Capacity in million gallons per day. |

Implement Curtailments |
Selecting this option initiates a simplified
curtailment schedule based upon the drought contingency plan developed by
SPU. Curtailments of 15%, 25%, or 35% are implemented dependent upon
supply and time of year. |

Use Wells |
Selecting this option initiates Highline Well
extractions after during the summer when releases are made at Cedar Creek
and Lake Youngs in order to meet demands. |

Variable Demand |
This initiates a variation of base demand that
responds to temperature and precipitation data (i.e. more climate
dependent demand function). |

This field displays Seattle's daily municipal
and industrial demand in million gallons per day. |
