Figure 5.8
displays the Seattle Advanced Control Panel. This screen provides the user with
the opportunity to choose input, such as Tolt Filtration Plant activation, that
will effect the Seattle Supply System and links to other components of the
model.

Input Options: |
|
|
Pump Cedar Dead Storage |
This option allows pumping of Chester Morse
Reservoir. Without pumping, dead storage is reached at the elevation of
1532 feet. Pumping allows drawdown to 1517 feet. |
|
Pump to 30' Drawdown |
This option, which may be activated along with
the "Pump Cedar Dead Storage" option, increases drawdown of
Cedar Reservoir to 1502 feet. |
|
Tolt Filtration Plant Options:
No Tolt Filtration Plant
Baseline, 1710 ft
Elevation 1690
Elevation 1660
|
This set of options allows the user to
incorporate the Tolt Filtration Plant into the simulation or exclude the
plant.
The user has the option to not include the
filtration plant.
The user may include the filtration plant by
choosing one of the dead storage elevation options available (1710, 1690,
and 1660). |
|
Tolt Pipeline II |
This option implements the addition of the
Tolt Pipeline II, which has a capacity of 120 mgd. |
|
Tolt Relies on Cedar |
With this option selected, flows in the Cedar
and storage in Chester Morse Lake determine critical fish flows. With this
option unselected, the two rivers are treated independently by the model.
Critical flows in the Tolt River will then be determined by Tolt flows and
storage. |

Activate HCP |
A check symbol indicates that the Cedar River
HCP has been activated. This HCP may be chosen in the Regional Control
Panel. |
