1. Document Overview
This document is divided into two portions, a user's guide and model
description. The user's guide includes sections one through six. These sections
of this document provide explanation of how to run the model, model input
option, and model output. The model description provides information about the
actual water supply systems of Everett, Seattle, and Tacoma, which CRYSTAL
describes.
Section 1(this section) serves as a brief document summary. -
Section 2 provides an overview of the CRYSTAL
model, including information about its development, who model users are, and
the software utilized to create the CRYSTAL model.

Section 3 details CRYSTAL installation.

Section 4 provides an explanation of how to
activate the model and work within Powersim. Additionally, this section
provides information about running a simulation and the format of the
CRYSTAL user interface.

Section 5 presents detailed information about
the title screens, control screens, and metrics screens.
Section 6
presents information telling the user how to save model results. -
Section 7
instructs the user in setting up the
current and imminent supply system scenarios.

Section 8 describes the
Seattle, Everett, and Tacoma supply systems. This information was
incorporated into the model.
